2 Children Die After Being Pulled From Pool In South Jersey, Prosecutor Says

Two children have died after being pulled from a pool at a Gloucester County home, authorities confirmed.

Monroe Township police responded to a Woods Road home just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, where an 11- and 14-year-old were found and taken to a hospital, as previously reported by Daily Voice.

FOX 29 spoke to the heartbroken mother from West Philadelphia after she decided to pull them off of life support.

“I know they’re at peace, it’s just very devastating,” Brittney McWhite told the TV station.

Chief Thomas Gilbert of the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office confirmed on Monday, June 3 that the two had died. No further information was provided.
